Cikarang, 2/9/18 (SOLUSSInews) – Thats the real humanity program. Its, urban developer Lippo Cikarang in its latest CSR program invited elementary students to develop a love for reading.
“It has been our commitment to maintain an active role in improving education, especially within the Cikarang region where our company is. We wanted students to develop a love for reading as soon as possible and let them know how important it is,” Lippo Cikarang president director Simon Subiyanto said on Friday (24/08)
A speed reading competition, themed “One Day Reading With Lippo Cikarang” was hosted by the Sukaresmi 05 elementary school. The competition involved students from other elementary schools in Central and South Cikarang.
Lippo Cikarang also gathered books donations from its employees.
Apreciation from Bekasi Regent
Bekasi District Elementary Education Depertment head Sudiana said he fully supports the program and hopes more programs like this one will come in the near future.
Lippo Cikarang’s CSR program in education received an award from the Bekasi Regent on Aug. 15.
Lippo Cikarang is an urban developer with development rights over 3,250 hectares. The company has built more than 17,000 homes for 51,000 people.
